Been in IT almost 30 years, built some of the first websites and hosted quite a few. Now stepping back I still run a couple small local business sites. Only complaint is on shared plan things can be a little slow sometimes, even with simple SFTP. But positives far outweigh negatives. First and foremost their tech support is awesome. Not just knowledgeable but very responsive. Price is great, dashboard works well, they keep improving. Very happy I chose DreamHost and will keep using them.

They host my email and site. Email has had ongoing problems with little help from Support. Worse, they have no phone support which made what little contact I had ineffective. My inbound email worked but now that doesn't either. Can't get into my portal to pay.
