Even after that, we hit a snag with a physical hard disk error.
They reseated the drive, and it was back in action. The email communication was smooth and straightforward. We sent an email to Contabo about the disk issue at 4:07 PM, got a few updates along the way, and the fix was done by 12:04 PM the next day so about 20 hours for the physical repair. Not bad at all for the price!
Adding paid 24/7 phone support and a pay-per-use option for faster repairs would be an awesome upgrade in the near future!

When server is up, they are the best. Fast server. Super good price for what you get. The only con, which is really bad in my opinion, is the server reliability. In the last year server was down 3 times. The two first time, it was for two and four hours Right now, it's down for more than two days. The server is hosted in New-York datacenter. Since Friday night I'm told the technician is working on it. We are Monday... still off. So, if it's for a business or a critical application, not good. If it's not critical, they are the best. Don't try to chat with a support in the weekend. Nobody there. I finally got a response Monday morning, but server still down... You get lots of CPU, RAM and SSD for the money. Tough to beat. Next step is to meet the 99.99% reliability they advertize.
